Honoring Cookeville Rescue Mission’s 45 Years of Service
Stefan Speligene • June 24, 2021

It’s always a joy when our work can coincide with our spirit for serving impactful causes.
Recently, we had the opportunity to partner with Cookeville Rescue Mission
to create a video honoring their 45-year mission of serving those in need through a program of spiritual, physical, material and emotional assistance coupled with education and public awareness.
We were connected to the rescue mission via our client, Averitt, which happens to be headquartered in Cookeville. After hearing their mission and all of the challenges they face, we volunteered to help share their story through video.
We partnered with one of our talented creatives, Justin Baker, to create this video featuring some of the men the rescue mission is working with, as well as the faithful team members who serve them every day.
Their work is so much more than providing a meal and a place to stay overnight. They build relationships with the people they’re serving, take care of their immediate needs and help them thrive both physically and spiritually.
This has been some of the most rewarding marketing work we’ve had the opportunity to be involved in, and we’re so grateful for the work the Cookeville Rescue Mission is doing in the Upper Cumberland area.
We appreciate you taking the time to watch this video and hear more about their mission. If you’re interested in giving of your time or treasure to Cookeville Rescue Mission, you can visit their page, Ways to Help.
Every January we like to gather as a croux and plan for the year ahead. It serves as a holiday celebration and a strategy session. We look forward to it every year. Over the last few years, we’ve also begun incorporating a “word of the year” practice, where we each choose a word that we will focus on throughout the year.
